Great old wooden accordion made by Hohner in Germany. It appears to be inlaid wood, but someone suggested it is painted wood that has been over laid. When you run your hand over it, you can feel the design which is why we thought it was inlaid wood. It has 21 buttons (made out of either Mother of Pearl and/or Abalone) on 2 rows (on the keyboard part) and 8 buttons on 2 rows on the box portion. As you can tell, we know nothing about musical instruments, but when I press the keys a sound comes out (sorry, not musically inclined). It is absolutely gorgeous. The whole accordion measures approximately 11" x 11". The box portion measures 8 1/2" x 11". The only flaw is there is a tear in the mesh part which could probably be fixed (see pictures).

Fresh from a local estate is this fabulous game or card table from either the 1930's or 1940's. It has the lyre or harp base, metal feet and a Duncan Phyfe style. Excellent shape with wear consistent to age. This one is unusual because it doesn't twist, but rather slides forward. Measures: Top (when opened) 31 1/4" square , folded 31 1/4" x 15 3/4" deep. When folded it is 28 1/2" tall, when opened 28".
